The Stomper follows the long lineage of outstanding creek designs at Liquidlogic.
Its beginning and history start here on our home river, the Green. Developing the Stomper began by blending the speed, stability and rolling ability of the Remix Series with the bomber construction, safety, and boofability of the Jefe Series. This combination, coupled with the Stomper's playful semi-planing hull will give you the confidence to maximize your experience on your local run and take you far into your paddling future.Design FeaturesDesign 1: Semi-Planing Hull = effortless turning in any situationDesign 2: Chamfered Edges = carving edges that snap into eddies but don't trip you upDesign 3: Smooth Transition Rocker Profile = gives the Stomper its speed Design 4: Rounded side wall = incredible stabilityDesign 5: Crowned Deck = quick and easy surfacing from under waterDesign 6: Big Bow Rocker = get your bow up and over anythingDesign 7: New Seat System = easier access to the stern of the boat for storageDesign 8: Bad Ass Outfitting = the most comfortable outfitting in the industryDesign 9: Aircraft grade aluminum security barsDesign 10: Industry leading Aquatuff plastic
The Stomper is an easy to paddle, no brainer boofer, thats easy to roll. We would describe it as more of a drifter while the Flying Squirrel is a "driver" which is faster and may be slightly harder to boof.
Novice - Super easy to roll with confidence inspiring stability which makes paddling through your first rapids easy. It's also an easy to turn platform to help with manuverability. Intermediate- All the same characteristics apply from the novice paddler info but add in the stellar boofability for stomping your first drops. Gnar Tech - Ultra manuverable for super steep, tight and technical drops. More stable and forgiving edges for paddling in extreme conditions.
If you are between the two weight ranges, the Stomper 80 is going to be a smaller, more playful boat. The small volume will be be good on smaller creeks and rivers but may be somewhat of a hinderence when paddling larger volume rivers.
