I have had my Remix for some time and is is still a great boat. I am still in the lower half of the weight range, but my legs are just too long for the foot pegs which means the pegs stay permanently in the gearbags.
My dad said I have a couple of choices:
Cut my feet off (no)
Foam it out, but that seems like a lot of foam and a big mess on the deck.
don't worry about it, which is what I do now. It works but it's kinda weird when I drive into a rock and slide forward inside the boat.
The foam seems like a good idea, but I was wondering if it's possible get my dad or grand-dad to modify a bulkhead from one of the bigger boars? Would it cause other problems? If it sounds doable, what would I order?

Hey Erin
Foaming out the boat would be a great option and as you get bigger you can adjust the foam. It will also give you great cushioning if you do hit the bow hard. If they have old boats to use the foam from that will work great and it won't affect the boat.
Have fun out there.
