So I just got back from Carolina Canoe Club's week of rivers and there's no way to put this nicely, my boat stinks!
Before risking any damage thought I'd ask. Will spraying Fabreze do any harm to the most excellent "bad ass" outfitting? |

Uh Oh
To tell you the truth I haven't ever had this problem and I am a smelly guy.
Fabreze could do the trick. Is it possible there is something else in the boat?
I seriously haven't heard of this in Bad Ass Outfitting.
I don't know what to tell you but Fabreze seems like a good place to start.

Fabreze may only mask the problem and Fabreze might wash out as soon as it gets wet. Mine started to smell slightly, but a good hosing with fresh water after every paddle has taken care of that. Granted, I'm still not going to bury my nose it it to see if it smells, but it's good from enough to sit in and not smell anything! _________________ **********

Do you take your float bags out after each outing? Maybe it's manky bilge water under the bags. I agree that rinsing with city water (lightly chlorinated) would probably help, too. |
